Making public health personal, from legislative wins to behavior shifts
I led digital design for two major public health initiatives for Undo. Beyond partnered with Duncan Channon to bring their campaigns to life online, and my role was to translate each concept into an action-oriented, highly engaging web experience—balancing bold design with innovative usability to inspire participation and drive real legislative results.
A mobile-first site targeting young social smokers, designed to feel conversational and peer-to-peer rather than preachy. Interactive elements and stylized visuals kept the tone engaging, while carefully crafted content reframed casual smoking as a real health risk. The approach met young people in their digital spaces, turning small shifts in perception into lasting behavior change.
A high-impact advocacy site created to educate parents on the dangers of flavored nicotine. The experience balanced credibility with urgency—making it easy to understand the stakes and take action. The campaign reached 1.75 million sessions and helped fuel e-cigarette bans across the U.S., showing how design can directly influence policy.
